Obras a Debate 1 is a project based on the idea of curatorship and of exhibition as excuses to trigger debates about the pieces exhibited.

 

The concept is based on two components: the observer’s interpretation of the exhibition of art works, and the message that artists are trying to convey to us with their work. Often the public assimilates wrongly or, better said, without specification. This is partially because the idea of works of art created in post-modernity still revolves around the inseparable pairing of artist–genius that has been instilled in contemporary art as a surplus of a hierarchy establishing mechanism between the misunderstood artist, the exhibition venue and the visitor.
